PERFORMANCE
Ford Bronco

You need an SUV with the power and presence to get off those mundane highways and onto an exciting off-road adventure, so let's see what the Bronco and the Wrangler have packed under their respective hoods.

Carving the Way to Adventure

When comparing the base trim of each vehicle, you'll find the Bronco has more to offer. Its standard 2.3L EcoBoost® engine achieves up to 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque to invigorate all your adventures. On the other hand, the Wrangler only offers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque from its base 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine, so you may be left craving more.

Both models also offer a healthy lineup of available engines, so you can choose which level of power is perfect for your journeys.

Tow Your Toys

Whether you’re bringing along your travel trailer to the campsite or hauling your jet skis to the lake, you’ll need an SUV that’s a capable tow vehicle. Luckily, both models have a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds with their base configurations. If you need even more strength, only the Ford Bronco boasts a higher 4,500-pound maximum towing capacity with its available 3.0L EcoBoost® V6.

ALL-TERRAIN
Ford Bronco

Once you hit the trails, you’ll be able to feel the wind in your hair and the splash of mud on your skin since both models offer a removable roof and doors. If you really want to get out to the uncharted wilds, there’s only one vehicle with superior off-roading skills and optimal performance abilities. Let’s see which one it is!

Off-Road Capabilities

The Bronco comes standard with the Terrain Management System™, which has these five G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Modes™:

  • Sand
  • Slippery
  • Sport
  • Eco
  • Normal

Plus, higher trim levels even include Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl modes. The Jeep Wrangler is available with an Off-Road+ mode, but you’ll only get the ability to fully adapt to the trail ahead in the Ford Bronco.

Superior Control

Both vehicles have a version of off-road cruise control. It will maintain a set low speed so you can focus on charting the trail ahead. Trail One-Pedal Drive, however, is one feature that’s only available with the Bronco. It automatically applies light braking when you let off the accelerator to provide easier, more precise control on your next journey.

TECHNOLOGY
Ford Bronco

Whether you’re staying local to hit up your favorite trail or branching out to a new national park, it’s important to enjoy an entertaining drive to your destination. Luckily, in the Ford Bronco and the Jeep Wrangler, you’ll find plenty of streaming and connectivity options.

Engage in Your Adventure

Both models provide technologies like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ so you can keep up with your most useful apps and favorite playlists. It will all be easier to see in the Ford Bronco, though, thanks to its available 12-inch touchscreen display. The largest display available with the Wrangler is only 8.4 inches.

You’ll also have a bevy of smart safety systems watching your back in either model. Both SUVs are available with a pre-collision system that will alert you to impending collisions and may even automatically apply the brakes in an emergency to help mitigate the impact.

Your Journey’s Soundtrack

Every off-road adventure needs a soundtrack. You can play yours on either the 9-speaker Alpine® Premium Audio System of the Wrangler or the more immersive, 10-speaker B&O Sound System available with the Ford Bronco.
